SwetsWise Online Content welcomes six new publishers to its industry leading collection of e-journals
Swets is pleased to announce that it recently signed agreements with six publishers to make their journals available via SwetsWise Online Content--Swets’ e-journal gateway that provides a single point of access to the most extensive collection of e-journals currently available, all in original published format. The newly signed publishers are:
• Duke University Press
• Duncker & Humblot
• Earthscan
• J. Ross Publishing
• Optical Society of America
• Stansted News
“The addition of these six new publishers further expands on SwetsWise Online Content’s comprehensive, industry leading list of top quality scholarly content,” said Thomas Snyder, Swets’ Chief Commercial Officer. “With such a vast amount of content available in the service, it is clear to see the inherent value of the product for both publishers and end-users, and why it has proven to be so popular among information professionals worldwide. It is an example of our commitment to providing solutions that simplify the way our customers access a wide range of electronic content, as well as help publishers expand their global reach while retaining control of their content.”
SwetsWise Online Content has firmly established itself as the electronic gateway of choice among librarians and information professionals around the world. It now includes more than 400 participating publishers, with over 25 million searchable references and direct links to more than 11,000 journal titles. In addition, SwetsWise Online content supplies informative usage statistics on each title, and includes swift access set-up for new e-journal subscriptions and automatic handling of claims for missing content with publishers. This results in the more efficient acquisition and authentication of e-journals, and gives end-users easy access to an organization’s e-resources.
